Marble Plumbing

Marble Plumbing specialise in both plumbing and gas works. Registered with the Gas Safe register they undertake gas works such as installing gas appliances, hobs, cookers and boilers. These appliances need different size pipes running into them, combination boilers for example need a 22mm pipe running into them, and if it is a new installation it is likely that the old boiler will only have had a 15mm pipe and we will have to run a new supply pipe from the meter to the boiler so that it can run to it’s maximum efficiency.

In some situations when working on existing buildings we find that the gas supply is made from lead, and this doesn not comply with regulations so we always make sure that we replace the supplying pipework.

Marble Plumbing has fitted many gas hobs which involves connecting a gas supply to the hob and and incorporating an accessible isolation valve. Once we have fitted the hob we will make sure that all the plates are sitting correctly on the burners with a good flame working. Gas cookers are another appliance that Marble Plumbing install very regularly. Once the cooker is in place and connected to a standard gas hose we will level out the cooker, left to right and front to back. This will ensure that the cooker works effectively and that it also looks good in the kitchen.

With any gas appliance or pipework we install we always use the industry recognised tests and check the working operation is correct, at Marble, safety is just as important as quality.
